About Betsy Goldman
Betsy sells Venice - both in real estate and as a way of life. A resident since 1980 and a Realtor since 1989, she knows the community intimately which enables her to better serve sellers and buyers.

Betsy excels at catering to the individual needs and requirements of her sellers and buyers. She is dedicated to providing outstanding customer service and upholding professional standards. Betsy's extensive marketing background from years of experience in the New York and Los Angeles garment industries is an asset when dealing with Venice's diverse neighborhoods. Each has a distinct personality.

Highly respected in the real estate industry, Betsy has served as Treasurer and Local Government Relations Chairperson of the Venice/Marina Board of Realtors, was awarded the Challenge Cup for her service to the Board and the Venice-of-America award for her service to the Venice community. She is a member of the Beveryly Hills Greater Los Angeles Board of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.

... One of the first recipients in the Los Angeles area of the National Association of Realtor´s SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) designation (1998), this program focuses on the real estate needs of home sellers and buyers aged 50 and over.

 

... One of the first recipients in the Los Angeles area of the EcoBroker designation (2007), this training helps to address the newest topics in real estate, such as "green" home certification programs like Energy Star® Qualified Homes, energy-efficiency, and sustainable design..


 


In addition to her dog and gardening, Betsy's hobbies revolve around her Venice activities. She loves being part of the community and playing a role in its future. It gives her great pleasure to impart her enthusiasm to clients who also appreciate Venice's diversity and eclecticism.
